Back to blog after a gap of one and half year. Was reading the last blog of one and half year back, realizing the words "more things more they remain the same". However there have been tangible changes over time; have a baby boy now, have a change in job, life has been more focussed, and am more explicit about my objectives, however still there are capabilities that need to be used to the fullest potential, exercises of spirit mind and body help. need to be back to the routine.

Looking for retirement. Retirement w.r.t. to modest cash flow for the future. Also need to engage in some family support even if not monetary but mental support and consultation wise. Anyway 9 pm sitting in the office on a sunday to make the coming a week a bit better with respect to mental job load. the practice has helped so far. Sunday to Friday noon work week. Friday afternoon to Saturday weekend.

Anyways need to make the next moves. Use MBA skills to enter into GRC space and expand. See you means me in my next blow. Hopefully the gap would not be this big like the last one.

After quite a few months again. With Dish. Things seem to be ok. Expecting a baby boy. Got the confirmation yesterday. Got done with dinners yesterday. Bit relaxed in that front. Need to be skillful, less talkative and more action oriented to manage things. Left eyes dancing for quite a few days. Know not why or what does it indiacte. Went through Chanakya quotes few times in the last few days.

Not exactly sure how where to focus. Looking for some guidance Chanakya;s quotes. Number of competing less interesting priorities at work front. Mind is divided and unfocussed. Thats something I need to take care of. May be I should go for AOL long kriya every Thursday. No always possible to regular. Need to have some regularity. Sitting late at office. May be should scratch the focus on bunch of white papers, which I do pretty regularly. Was going thru earlier blogs about ST/MT/LT goals. Seems aligned and achieved w.r.t. to ST. Let me see how the MT and LT goals need to be matched. Need to do a steady job search. Sort of decided of staying in US or some devloped countries for the next 10 years. Need to finish formalities associted with Ozie PR application. Anywas let me work on the bunch of whote papers for now.

Am back after 3 months. got into it. this was my st goal. need to stabilize. lot of destabilizers are there. very important to have hands around and work really hard. need to have the right balance as well lot of non core work like extra Wipro load plus mentoring. - need to deal with. meditation, stress free attitude is the solution.

Why did I leave the job or created the issues.

I thought that I can get into SAP CRM contract consulting through Csoft.

Now the SAP CRM resume is very clear

I have two options now..

1. ft job - ditch Csoft
2. a. ba contract job - with Csoft
b. sap crm job - with Csoft

If #1 happens that's fine. I don't think I need to put lot of work to make it happen.
But #2 will give a lot of flexibility.

Anyways, getting into the tech function is the goal.

Job search seems harder than it seems from outside. You don't know the end result but you try and try. This becomes tougher when one is under pressure (say financial) . Have options like BA/BSA or SAP CRM. Like th function CRM. Hopefully something will come out. Today give the SAp CRM resume a final color and then talk to Vimal to see if he can help in making the stories. Very important to get a break!

Let's make a strong case for SAP CRM.

Can I try for SAP CRM full time. Probably no. Consulting will be a better option. Finding reference is the other issue. For full time I cant give wrong names. Good thing there they dont ask for references. Can I say I did a full time implementation? Probably yes. Why not?

Finding it hard even to think. Anyways. Should try for pizza today nite.

Heard the lecture of Randy Pausch yesterday. Realized if you are behind childhood dreams you remain so much motivated. Started thinking what was my childhood dream. This gets lost redesigned in the course of life. Also going though Ved's connections in Linkedin. Lot of professional success there. May be only successful people put there's. So statistically thats okay. Let me give the cynical thought some rest and think about my childhood dreams. May be to be a successful and glamorous rich business professional with lot of disposable money to take care of family and fun.

Creating a niche is important. SAP consulting is good. But make a way in into the tier 1 consulting firms at least in a sr manager level quickly. That will giv some time to climb the hiererchy.

Have been writing things in notepads. Not possible to organize. This, I thought, would be a good one. I remember writing here long back. Anyways, here I am.

Few things to be done.

Get a CRM project.

Once you find your passion you have lot of avenues to browse. So, far ther has been a quest. Hope I have found the professional passion. It seems to be the CRM functions. Technology vertical is always good. Healthcare is not bad.

CRM with a technology flavor makes it specialized. Otherwise it remains as a commodity.

Family life balance is important. Hope one day I'll be able to position myself well there. The fuel there is money. people may want to disagree but ultimately that plays a big role.

Important to line like a shainik thats why I put the name as shainik. They fight for a cause. Dont think whats there at the next step. It's important to live life is that way. You may not find supporter to buy on. So better to keep the attitude to oneself. Till they survive they live a head on the shoulder with a spine in the back' attitude. Who has seen the end. Those who have seen passes while seeing.

Now time lines (tactical things are the wrong wordings, they are the pillars of the strategy, so very important).

Be yourself. Dot try being like a large family person. Think, listen, accept, dont jump unnecessarily - does not help.

Dont also think in terms of money giving - even if you can, dont, what if you dint have

Within the next 15 to 21 days get one. At leats by Jan/Feb latest.

Keep the office stuffs at a low profile from your side. Let them take action.

Make the resume your bible. Read whatever needs to be read. Make it perfect and your understanding as well.

It will take care of lot of the things.

Pay back Rosedale. But another one b/r one as a workplace.

Save enough for retirements. Save enough for maintenance of the Rosedales.

It's
a process not an event. So keep the attitude and enthu up, very up, do whatever needs to be done. Meditation, gym, travel, talk, knowledge, etc etc
